#Whataboutus - Nigeria's First Youth-Centred Presidential Debate

 
The date was set. The candidates were chosen based on over 8,000 combined votes of young Nigerians via an online and SMS poll.

So on Friday, March 25th at the Yar'Adua Center in Abuja, Nuhu Ribadu, Dele Momodu and Ibrahim Shekarau had a conversation about priority issues for young Nigerians.
Co-produced by EiE Nigeria and moderated by Chimamanda Adichie, the internationally acclaimed author and hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the event was shown live on Channels TV, HiTV (Real TV) and streamed online with support from Google. 

Chris Okotie accepted our invitation but was unable to attend due to security concerns related to his campaign. Pat Utomi also accepted but was unable to attend as he was ill. Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari did not formally respond. The debate will be rebroadcast on Channels and HiTV and we will post the dates and times.
